Vice Visionaries - Nick Knight

Nick Knight has revolutionised the way that digital photography and imagery can be utilised,  he seperates himself from the digital film argument and is only interested in the medium in which he uses. He is by far one of the best fashion photographers out there at the moment and a huge inspiration of mine! He is also a true British gentleman as you can see from this episode of Vice Visionaries.

Update

I have updated a couple of galleries on my site, I plan on adding a lot more work in the near future with plenty of shoots planned. I am in the process of researching and planning a new photo project so stay tuned for new on that.  Also in other news I picked up Art Review magazine which I would recommend to anyone interested in Art or Photography.

Jeff Wall

I have always been intrigued by the work of Jeff Wall, the narrative's within his photos are incredibly thought provoking due to the manner in which they are hidden within the photo's and how they are represented by each individual element within. His compositions are always precisely thought out in such a way that they give you the impression that each photo is singular, as opposed to a series of similar compositions and selecting the best one. This may be true of his working practise but it shows how good his selections are.
